OCIABC Bronze Beacon Award: Award of Merit: OHSU Doernbecher Freestyle Event

In preparation for the 10th anniversary of the Nike/Doernbecher Freestyle Event, the organizations turned to Mambo Media for strategic expertise in using social media to increase reach/awareness, engage with very diverse audiences (from sneakerheads to large donors), and most importantly, develop a best-practice campaign template that the team can follow for both the 10th anniversary and other annual events.

Mambo Media provided OHSU Foundation an library of tools, including project templates, planning checklists, engagement strategies, content calendars and more. Mambo Media also trained the team on the tools as well as channel management which led to a 65% increase in Twitter followers, a 225% increase in retweets and a 350% increase in click-through-rates as well as exceeding over 1 million impressions on Facebook within a 1-month period.

Congratulations to Siouxsie, Danielle and the OHSU Doernbecher team!
